GAC Motor was founded in 2008 in southeast China. It is in this territory that the brand has much more experience in producing cars. Back in 1955, there was a small factory here. Fan Zhang is Deputy General Manager of GAC, who previously worked at Mercedes-Benz. As you can see, the company employs highly qualified craftsmen. This is one of the components of the success of the entire group. In 2017, the company opened another center in Newport Beach. It is managed by Pontus Fonteas, an interior specialist who trained in such large companies as Volvo and Volkswagen.

Such strength and production capacity ensured the company's rapid development. It is impossible not to pay attention to the financial and political support of the government. Yet GAC is regarded as a state-owned company. The main task of the GAC group is to break the negative image of Chinese cars that has developed over the past few years. With proper development, it can surpass companies such as Haval and KIA with Hyundai.

GAC is now targeting the automotive market. Unlike other companies from China, GAC operates on a strategy of conquering large markets around the world. For example, back in 2015 the group set off to conquer the USA. The GAC GS4 crossover was presented at the international motor show. GAC Motor is now the leader in terms of growth in the Chinese market.
